ADDITION OF NEGATIVE INTEGERS

The PARENTHEIS SIGN ( ) is sometimes put

around a number to separate the Positive

Sign from the NEGATIVE SIGN.

Example:  6 + (-) 3

The NEGATIVE SIGN  in front of a number

means that the BASEBALL PLAYERS are

running AWAY from HOME PLATE.

For example, a negative 7 is  7   BASEBALL

PLAYERS running AWAY from HOME PLATE.
